Vision Board Do’s and Don’ts to Prep for My Vision Board Book Launch!
Hey everyone,
I’m thrilled to announce that my new book, "Make a Vision Board," will be launching on May 28, 2024! This is everything. I'm so excited, and I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
Before we dive into creating our new vision boards together, it's important to look back and reflect on our past boards. In a special video, I take you through my last two vision boards, sharing insights on what worked and what I would do differently next time. Watch the video to tour the boards and walk through the process with me.
Here's a summary of the key do's and don'ts I’ve learned:
Vision Board Do’s and Don’ts
Do: Come up with One Buzzword for Each Category
Choose a single word to focus on for each category of your board. This buzzword should serve as a concise symbol or target word to guide your decisions and goals. For example, if your focus is on career, your buzzword could be "Growth."
Do: Make It Beautiful
Your vision board should be something you want to look at all the time. Treat it like a piece of art. Fill in the entire board with color and images so that there’s no white space. Design matters—play with scale, highlight certain components, and use patterns to make it visually engaging.
Don't: Focus Solely on Material Goods
Think deeply about what you truly desire beyond material possessions. Is it financial freedom or the joy of easily earning money? There are no wrong answers, but be specific about what you really want.
Don't: Include Negative or "No" Statements
Focus on positive, present-tense statements about what you want to manifest. Avoid phrasing your goals negatively. For instance, instead of writing "The people are not stressed out," write "Inspire and motivate" or "Gladly guide" as your focus words.
Do: Start Big and Whittle Down
Begin with your core dreams and then hone in on the details. Think about the overall feelings you want to evoke, such as the type of career or love you desire. My book breaks down categories based on astrological houses to help you explore your subconscious desires and life goals.
Reflecting on My Past Vision Boards
Tuesday, May 28, is the official launch date of the Make a Vision Board collage book. Before we move forward and create our new boards together, I’m looking back at my old boards to see what worked and what didn’t. This reflection is essential—if you have a vision board, you should be doing this too. Looking back helps you move forward with clarity.
In my video, I go over an older vision board which felt more targeted but was less visually appealing because I didn’t lean into the design as much. I realized the importance of creating a board that not only has focal points but also feels complete and beautiful without empty spaces. For example, I remember setting an intention to "Remember to breathe," which led to me incorporating breathing exercises into my daily routine without even realizing it.
One key takeaway is to avoid putting negative statements on your board. I once included "The people are stressed out" intending to focus on helping others, but I ended up attracting stressed-out people into my life. Instead, focus on positive affirmations like "Inspire and motivate."
Creating Your Vision Board
With "Make a Vision Board," I’ve included categories based on astrological houses to help break down big concepts into manageable parts. This approach helps you cover all aspects of your life without feeling overwhelmed. The book is filled with over a thousand images, rituals, and manifestations to inspire your creativity.
When making your board, focus on what truly matters to you emotionally and spiritually, not just materially. Determine what abundance means to you—whether it's financial freedom or the ability to live your life freely.
I’ve also decided to paint my board before adding any images this time. Covering the white space with beautiful imagery is crucial because how much you put into the creation process matters. Make your vision board something you want to look at daily.
As I prepare for the book launch, there will be plenty of vision board activities, including blog posts, parties, and a vision board tag where you can follow along with manifesting your dreams using personal astrology. The main board I’m creating will focus on my goals for the next year, but I’ll also create specific boards for different areas of life, such as career and love.

The book is available everywhere, and you can get it now. I’m excited for you to join me on this journey of creating the next level of our reality. With "Make a Vision Board," you'll have everything you need to create a powerful vision board that reflects your deepest desires.
Thank you for joining me, and let’s get to work manifesting our dreams!
