Algae Extract

Often touted as a miracle ingredient by skincare experts, Algae has been used for centuries as an incredibly rich nutrient source for the skin and body. With 12 vitamins, 18 amino acids and 42 trace elements, Algae balances the skin's hydration (because of the Alginic Acid) and plumps fine lines and wrinkles (thanks to Vitamin C and Glycin). Algae makes the perfect delivery system for vitamins and minerals to enter the dermal layer. Our Algae extract is sustainably harvested in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Algae Oil

Algae oil is a powerful tool in the pursuit of healthy skin. It blocks the enzymes that reduce collagen production, protects your skin's production of hyaluronic acid, and improves skin elasticity, reducing and preventing fine lines and wrinkles. It also reduces hyperpigmentation, and brightens, hydrates, and detoxes the skin. Algae oil is high in antioxidants, offering protection from free radicals by neutralizing the pollutants that come in contact with the skin, all while performing as a UVA/ B blocker to protect against sun damage.

Aloe Vera

Considered the secret to longevity by the ancient Egyptians, Aloe Vera is a powerful moisturizer because of mucilage, the clear gel inside the leaves that makes up the bulk of Aloe Vera's weight. Mucilage is rich in vitamins A, B, C, and E and a whopping 18 amino acids. Our Aloe Vera Powder is a concentrated version, with 100x potency compared to the same weight of the liquid.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids - AHA

We use a combination of five natural AHAs - Lactic Acid (from Bilberry), Glycolic Acid (from Sugar Cane), Citric Acid (from Orange and Lemon), and Malic and Tartaric Acids (from Sugar Maple) - to penetrate and gently exfoliate the skin and to stimulate new skin cell production. This brightens, smooths and evens the complexion, treating rough skin, wrinkles, and fine lines. Glycolic Acid is an extremely effective exfoliator, but because it is smaller than all other AHAs, it penetrates the dermis and stimulates fibroblasts to increase collagen production. Lactic Acid gently exfoliates, reduces hyperpigmentation, and tightens, and while Citric acid increases elasticity and balances skin tone. This unique blend is capable of increasing the rate of cellular renewal by between 24%-38%.

Coconut water replenishes the skin's mineral balance and is rich in calcium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus and magnesium, and acts as a catalyst for other skin care ingredients to boost effectiveness, allowing for better penetration into the dermis. Lauric acid is a saturated fatty acid that has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, and cytokinins, which aid in the reconstruction of the skin barrier, slowing the signs of aging. Coconut water also reduces inflammation, making it effective for sensitive or acne-prone skin.

Beta-glucans, polysaccharides, triterpenoids, thiamine, riboflavin, folic acid and niacin fuel this powerhouse superfood. Beta-glucans, nutirents typically found in mushrooms, speed skin repair, stimulate collagen production, promote wound healing, reduce inflammation, and lock in moisture. The polysaccharides enhance hydration and aid in moisture retention. Triterpeniods also assist in wound healing and collagen production, and help prevent UV damage. Riboflavin protects the structural integrity of the skin, promoting collagen production and cell turnover, leading to brighter skin. Folic acid fights premature aging, fine lines, and wrinkles. Niacin has proven effective in reducing UV damage and skin cancer, assists in evening out the skin tone, and reduces inflammation and acne.

Rosehip Seed Oil

Harvested from the rose bush, Rosehip seed oil has a small molecular structure, allowing it to easily penetrate the epidermis, delivering antioxidants, fatty acids, and vitamins A, C & E, moisurizing, nourishing, brightening, and protecting the skin. Linoleic acid reinforces that protection by restoring the skin barrier function and boosting collagen production. Retinoids in Rosehip seed oil even aid in clearing up acne.

Made by bees, royal jelly is to bees what breast milk is to humans, but its much more than that. Royal jelly is packed with proteins, enzymes, fatty acids, and vitamins E, A, C, endowing it with antimicrobial properties and skin-soothing benefits. It gently exfoliates and encourages cell turnover, which can help brighten dull skin. It's high amino and fatty acid content contribute to more radiant skin. Antioxidants resist aging and depleted skin caused by oxidative stressors.

Squalene Light

Squalene is a lightweight moisturizer that penetrates the dermis without clogging pores to soothe and heal the skin at the cellular level. Squalene is a substance our body produces naturally, and is also the chemical precursor to all steroids, but we make less of it as we age. Because the body recognizes it, it binds well to our cells, allowing it to go further in into your skin, where it balances your natural oil production, promotes cellular regeneration, stimulates collagen production, and reduces inflammation. *Our Squalene is 100% derived from plants. *

This unique blend of small and large peptides launches a two-pronged attach on aging solution by offering immediate and long-lasting results. The large peptides adhere to the epidermis, forming a protective layer that immediately tightens and firms the skin, while the small peptides penetrate the dermis to gradually lift and firm the skin by promoting cellular growth and collagen production. Made from sweet almond seed extract and hydrolyzed rice protein, studies show using this peptide blend for 60 days showed a 36% reduction in wrinkle length, a 17% reduction in wrinkle depth, and a 30% reduction in wrinkle surface area.

Turmeric is a key ingredient in the fight against dull skin. It acts as a melanin inhibitor to clear blemishes, improves uneven skin tone, and contains curcumin and antioxidants, which heal wounds, and reduce inflammation, and brighten the skin.

Witch Hazel Hydrosol - Alcohol Free

This pure distillate of the whole plant and made without alcohol, Witch Hazel Hydrosol is a powerful antioxidant and strong astringent known to reduce skin inflammation, clear wounds and acne, and heal cracked and dry skin. Witch Hazel is also vasoconstrictive, meaning it has the ability to stimulate and tighten the walls of the blood vessels of the skin, which helps to heal sensitive tissue and wounds. We don’t know when this plant's properties were first discovered, but it was used throughout history to treat ulcers, coughs, aches and colds. Known as a miracle plant, Witch Hazel blooms in the middle of winter, and its branches were used to make dowsing sticks, an ancient technique for finding water.
